ABOUT US

We are fellow artists. Greg Evans is a retired pediatric dentist in Fort Collins. After 27 years of tiny fillings, he returned to his college passion of painting and has been framing his own work for decades.  Cody Winiecki was the Framing Manager and Art Instructor at the old Schissler school in Loveland. When it ended in 2020, Cody founded his own school, Sparrow Art Center and kept in touch with Jafe Parsons, our local art photographer at Jafe Inc.  who purchased the equipment from Schissler.

We purchased our frame shop equipment in 2023 with the intent of providing a low overhead, quality product at less cost to the local artist.  With the support of our many friends, we can beat anyone’s price on custom frames, and we have framed everything from guitar straps to rice paper to dusty old family art, to circus posters to you name it!  We knew it would be fun, but we didn’t anticipate it would become its own art form for us!

We offer timely service and a practical inventory of choices for your framed needs.  We carry an inventory of value priced frames in the shop, and our delivery time for a vast number of frame choices is less than a week due to our wholesale access out of Denver.  We can educate and assist you to your next beautiful frame for oil and pastels, watercolors and drawings.  But don’t forget your concert posters, awards, diplomas, shadow boxes, jerseys, or even a reframing or repair of a beloved piece in your home.

Have you ever thrifted a frame? We love putting new life into those as well. And we delight in the small jobs of reframing or rematting or adding new glass, because if it’s important to you it is important to us and for a sincerely reasonable price. Our labor and shop prices are posted and you always get a free quote before any work is done.  Just like Greg used to run his dental office. Next to our children, our art is precious.  We know this.
